Predicted Trends in Education In Scotland

The Scottish Government have published a review which summarises the predicted trends that will shape the lives of young people over the next decade. The current trends highlight attainment changes, while the future trends highlight how digital technology are expected to influence a variety of aspects of education. In Summary: - Pupils are staying in education longer & gaining more qualifications. - Large attainment gap between pupils from most & least deprived areas. - Higher % of young people are enrolling in higher education in Scotland. - Digital Education is likely to provide increased levels of personalisation.
